Great atmosphere and outstanding service. The food was not bad for a busy bar. The thing you must do after seeing the original inspiration location is to go upstairs past the bar's gift shop. There you will see the set of the original TV show. Cheers

Enjoyed coming here. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We came just to grab a drink and purchase souvenirs. The place was full and everyone was enjoying themselves.

I recently visited this place while on vacation in Boston and I knew I really wanted to stop by this place. Growing up the show cheers was something my mom always had on TV so there was that feeling of nostalgia when I knew I was going to be headed here. If you're a fan of chairs at all, this is a place that you have to check out. Yes, it's touristy and of course they also have souvenirs. This is an actual working bar and restaurant so you can eat here, but we chose just to sit at the bar and have a drink. We came in the afternoon so it wasn't busy, but I'm not quite sure how busy they get in the evening. It worked out for us though because it's literally right across the street from the Boston Public Garden, which we were already visiting.

We were riding the trolly to see what areas we wanted to see a little bit more and one stop is directly in front of Cheers. Like many, we loved the show when it was on so we had to get off. It was lunch time so that sealed the deal. We got a table immediately upstairs in the "set" dining room where they have the area set up like the show set including lights etc. There are name plates on the bar where the characters sat. The food was good. I enjoyed a cold beer in a replica dimple beer mug. We split a cheeseburger and had a side of onion rings. Our server was great! They have lots of memorabilia around as well as large cardboard cutouts of the cast. The nostalgia was well worth our time and we enjoyed our meal.

Stopped here while in town and happen to be staying right down the street so figured I would go and try it out and if you go down the steps you are at the original bar but if you go upstairs you go to what is called the replica bar of the show . We ate downstairs and were seated pretty quick but the small bar area was packed service was good I ended up getting the bleu cheese burger which was good and juicy bacon on it was really good , I will say if you like onion rings I ordered the basket of them and they were really good onion rings and would definitely get them again. Even if you have no clue what the show was the atmosphere is good and enjoyable and would recommend if you happen to be in the area.

I am glad we decided to hit this tourist attraction. Great service, cold beer in a Cheers Mug and tasty food. There were 2 levels with a bar on each. It was small, but cool to see the paraphernalia from the hit TV show. We tried the clam chowder, and Frasier's chicken panini, both were good. Definitely worth a visit at least once.

It was lunchtime with standing room only. There was not even room at the bar for a drink. A lot of memorabilia and photo options to take selfies. All of the staff were very friendly and offered assistance. Even if you cannot get a table or sit at the bar, it is worth a trip through the building.

Ok, so this might be a tourist trap but I don't care, I liked it! We happened to arrive about 45-mins before they opened and a line started forming so we jumped in. We were part of the first group in and opted to sit downstairs at the original bar (you can continue on through back up the stairs if you want to grab a drink in the TV Show set replica bar. Service was efficient - they've got this down to a science. Our group went with a Boston Lager for the first round and they came in an icy cold mug - a perfect way to beat the heat! They've got food if you're hungry, but if you want to just grab one beer for the experience and take off, that's cool, too! Don't forget to check out the little gift shop before you leave!
